Current situation at Sunday, 24 February 2013: The allotments are fully used. There is a short waiting list.

The bare soil in the cutting by the new entrance and filling the old entrance is being encouraged to vegetate naturally with local plants. Native hedging has been planted above the cutting and will be laid at a suitable time.

News

On 11th April the Prince of Wales Award Committee came to the allotments to judge whether or not we got an award. Sadly, we didn't get the award,but received some complimentary remarks and have been invited to apply again next year. Just having got on to the short list of 5 is an achievement we can thank Sue for. Thanks to Gregory and several other members who were on the site to help, in spite of the weather forecast.

We have been invited to support the Village Flower Show; a special category has been added for allotments!

The work day on Sunday 14th April was cancelled. A replacement date will be thought up.

Open Day is Sunday 21st July, 10.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs.

Work Day Saturday 21st September, 10.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs.
